Girija is one of the 600 workers who are sitting idle for 6 months as their factory closed due to recession. Ramesh closed his business and now moving to another state for want of job. Dilip is unable to give EMIs to the bank so sold his property. Radha is now washing utensils in houses to run her living. Anuradha does not go to school anymore.
Their are millions of poor workforce, the industrial labours, whose factories or companies have been trapped in the Political Agendas v/s Industrial Agendas v/s Activists Agendas. The U-turn by the Central and State Governments on various industries has left them in a state of shock. Many dreams have been shattered.
Industries are not build overnight, it takes years of hard work and investments and search for suitable manpower to run an industry. Scouting for raw material itself needs long term contracts which also makes the ancillary industries either prosper or popper.
Ask an employee, who has forgotten about the increment but worried about his job. Those surviving are living with increased expenditures due to never ending inflation.
In all this Bheja Fry feels that the Governments at Central and State believe that this poor un-skilled, downtrodden, helpless industrial worker, whose future has been ruined due to biased, deliberate and mischievous treatment of industries by their governments, has become powerless, helpless and hopeless.
Well you are mistaken Mr. Ministers. He still has one right left, the biggest authority – THE RIGHT TO VOTE - A VOTER’S RIGHT TO ELECT A NEW GOVERNMENT. Your Future is now in his hands.
No blame game of any of the government will work this time. Don’t be a fool. He might not have gone to school but he understands the language of politics.
States like West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Harayana, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Karnataka, Goa, Tamil Nadu and north east will be the most affected through industrial workers voting. States like Gujarat, Rajasthan and Bihar may still be fine as their States are progressing but the workers there are also quite aware about the conditions of industries.
In the name of environment concerns, forest conservation, pollution control, land issues, activists, tribal welfare, corruption, protests etc. the Central and State Governments have hit the development, growth, economic stability, and social development agenda to the rock bottom.
Bheja Fry is sure, this time, the 10 crore Industrial Workforce will prevail upon any other agenda by Central or State Governments. The Power of 10 Crore will most break the future of many political magnificent.
Oh.. Oh.. I forgot, you must be questioning the 10 crore industrial voters number, see the table below:
